The Business Partnership is looking to recruit a part-time Finance Officer (16 hours a week). Working as part of a small friendly office, we would offer a salary £21,385 (pro-rata), 31 days holiday (part time equivalent) as well as a contributory pension scheme.
Main duties would include:
Processing weekly and monthly payrolls for around 50 people
Including collecting and checking timesheets for weekly staff
Administration and handling queries for short term contracts and training allowances
Submission of HMRC RTI returns on time
Compliance with auto enrolment and related submissions and reconciliations
Handling all queries about payroll
Processing employee expenses
Preparing payroll based excel spreadsheets for finance department use
You will also be required as part of your role to provide assistance with sales and purchase invoicing and processing as required.
Candidates must have at least one year payroll experience.
You must have the ability to identify and solve problems.
Excellent communication skills are essential.
You must have strong attention to detail and an ability to work to deadlines.
You should have some knowledge of finance systems preferably SAGE.
High levels of English both written and oral are essential for the role.
